Axim 7095P Rim Mounted Paddle Exit Device

The Axim PR7095P is a rim-mounted push paddle panic exit device for single-leaf timber and steel doors requiring compliance with BS EN 1125. Unlike concealed rod devices, the PR7095P is surface-mounted on the door face — the latch engages a rim strike on the door frame, making it particularly suitable for retrofit applications or doors where morticing is not possible.

A single push of the paddle bar simultaneously retracts the latch and releases the door. A mortice rim cylinder on the outside of the door allows key-controlled entry from the secure side. The PR7095P is handed — left hand and right hand variants are available and must be specified correctly at the time of order.

Selecting the Correct Hand

The hand of the device is determined by the position of the hinges when viewed from the outside (secure side) of the door. If the hinges are on the left, the door is left hand — order the left hand variant. If the hinges are on the right, order the right hand variant. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering — the PR7095P cannot be reversed on site.
